Grocery stores have an impeccable influence on the amount of flowers distributed to loved ones daily, across the nation. What better resource for spreading that wealth of love right here in our neighborhood! The large assortment and quantity of flowers carried make our local grocery stores an excellent resource! The unsalable flowers that are past the sale date can be refurbished by Sweet Surprises then delivered to a unexpected recipient, instead of the dumpster.
We are available to develop a schedule of how often Sweet Surprise can pick up flowers. Random pick ups are available, with a 48hr notice in advice.

FLORIST
Florists know firsthand the amount of joy flowers bring to people! Flowers are a complete game changer! That being said, receiving support, advise and floral contributions from our community of florists is very significant to the success of this project. The level of expertise florists have will be incredibly beneficial in educating Sweet Surprises Project volunteers in how to nurture flowers in to a visual representaion of our community's appreciation for our senior citizens.

Wedding
Weddings are such a special way to celebrate the love two people have for one another. What better way to express that than with beautiful floral arrangements for the ceremonies! When the ceremony is over, those flowers can continue to impact others when they are redistributed by Sweet Surprises to our senior communities. Flowers are truly tangible expressions of love that can be used over and over until their time passes & they wither away. Let's not let those go to waste.
We are available to pick up flowers after the wedding/reception with a 48hr notice in advice please.
FUNERAL
While flowers purchased for funeral homes are to celebrate a life that was lost, can also be utilized to celebrate someone's still living in a very special way. Many floral arrangements are put to waste after the funeral, but that trash can be recycled in to treasure by our volunteers! Sweet Surprises respectively acknowledges the difficult moment the families are enduring and ensures those flowers will be used to continue to uplifting others.
